As illustrated in the shareholder structure chart on page 3, BIDV METLIFE is 60% owned by METLIFE, INC (United States), 34.32% by JOINT STOCK COMMERCIAL BANK FOR INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM (BIDV), and 5% by BANK FOR INVESTMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAM INSURANCE JOINT STOCK CORPORATION. This ownership structure reflects a strategic partnership between a global insurance group and one of Vietnam’s largest commercial banks.
