The company was established on October 4, 2013, under the administration of the Hai Phong City Department of Finance, and has since become a key player in Vietnam’s high-tech manufacturing ecosystem.

As a one-member limited liability company, LITE-ON VIETNAM is wholly owned by LITE-ON TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION, a global electronics manufacturing group headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan. The Vietnamese entity operates with a charter capital of approximately USD 121.5 million, with over USD 84.9 million paid in, and employs approximately 5,100 people.

The company specializes in the processing and manufacturing electronic circuit boards and components, particularly for mobile phones, computers, networking equipment, and office electronics. It also assembles Wi-Fi transceivers, wireless network devices, power adapters, cameras, ADSL broadband access devices, and other digital hardware.
