SOC TRANG SEAFOOD JOINT STOCK COMPANY

Founded in 1978, SOC TRANG SEAFOOD JOINT STOCK COMPANY was operated as a state-owned company. After that, it was equitized in May 2006. It has been a public company since Jun 2007. The company specializes in processing products from shrimp. All of the raw materials for its processing are collected from farms in Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, and Ca Mau Provinces. Most of the products are exported to the USA, EU Countries, Japan, Canada, etc., and a small rate is supplied to the domestic market. Stapimex has a farming area of ​​only 70 hectares and about 40% of input materials for Stapimex's two factories come from links with six cooperatives with a cooperative area of ​​500 hectares. The remaining 60% is purchased externally.

According to the 2023 annual report, the company set goals and plans for 2024 such as producing 30,000 tons of finished products, export turnover reaching USD 340 million, profit reaching VND 500 billion, and a plan to pay dividends from 50% of share par value or more.
