Currently, VBI can provide company reports for all businesses operating in Vietnam: this covers more than 1 million registered businesses and includes comprehensive reports for up to 600,000 active businesses.

What is a company report?

A company report is a compilation of key data about the value of a certain company and includes raw and analyzed information, both financial and non-financial.

Company reports offer important observations about the level of ‘insolvency’ of a business as well as suggestions about the 'credit limit' of a credit facility for that business.

A company report

A company report provides the following pieces of information:

  • Full financial data
  • Company legal identification
  • Business operation status
  • Information on company development from inception to the reporting date
  • Shareholder structure and ownership
  • Subsidiary and affiliated companies
  • Negative news on the subject company
  • Suppliers and competitors
  • Litigation records
  • Full financial data

Depending on the type of report, the information items may be incomplete, general or detailed.

VBI provides 3 types of company reports:

  • Company Profile Report
  • Company Standard Report
  • Company Comprehensive Report.

Company profile report

This can be considered as a brief overview, with information about legal identification including the company’s name (full name; abbreviation; name in English), its operating status (registration number; registration date; place of registration; registered capital), the company contact details (full address; phone; email; website), and general information about shareholders and the management board. Additionally, some financial details such as total assets, total debt, total sales revenue and profit after tax are also displayed in the report. This report is usually about 3-5 pages long.

Company Standard Report

In addition to the information given in the Company Profile Report, a Company Standard Report provides a full financial report of the business, of up to 3 or 5 years. Information regarding the business owner, related companies, any subsidiaries and affiliations is also added. The length of this report is from 7 to 8 pages.

Company Comprehensive Report

This report contains everything detailed in our Company Standard Report, augmented with other important information related to the business sector such as comparable businesses, competitors, litigation records and any negative news, and includes comments from experts on the subject company. An average report of this kind is normally 15 pages long. This is the most useful product that investors should consider due to the amount of comprehensive and valuable information contained within.

Why VBI?

VBI is committed to providing customers with accurate and complete information about a company, allowing you to make the best-informed business decisions.

VBI’s company reports can be regarded as detailed and thorough sketches of companies under analysis, covering more than the prosaic market indicators to holistically flesh out the culture and outlook of the company in question.

The business picture that VBI offers has two clear purposes: to help customers both control risks and seize opportunities. It is often argued that it is impossible to do these two things at the same time, as doing less can cause small errors while doing more entails greater risks.

However, there is another principle, of the straight line through the center: helping you to reduce risk but also supporting growth. In other words, the more you grow, the better you can control risks.

That straight line principle is information. The more information you have and the more up-to-date the information is, the more accurate your decisions will be. Concurrently, when you are well-informed, you have the tools to eliminate risky deals and identify safe ones, whether local or global, allowing you to effectively access and promote business activities.

VBI can provide company reports for all businesses operating in Vietnam: this covers more than 1 million registered businesses and includes comprehensive reports for up to 600,000 active businesses. However, if you cannot locate the report of a business or sector you are interested in please email us, as VBI has a team of researchers in Vietnam who are able to investigate and compile a rapid bespoke report for you within a certain period of time (usually from 1 to 5 working days).

Customers can directly purchase company reports via our website at https://www.vnbis.com or email at [email protected].
